Une gaffe plus grave même . En effet, invité de la chaîne « Vox-africa » Mame Mbaye Niang qui a été interrogé dans le cadre de l’affaire Kémi Séba a confondu l’Uemoa à la Cedeao.
Face cette bourde « indigne » d’un ministre, un certain Soya Diagne a lancé une pétition sur un site spécialisé pour le retour du ministre Mame Mbaye Niang qui est présentement à Paris où il séjourne dans le cadre du «Salon du tourisme», au Sénégal. Pour l’initiatrice, «l’image du Sénégal est sacrée et le ministre se ridiculise sur les plateaux de télés françaises, en en donnant des interviews qu’il ne maîtrise pas le sujet ».
