Dans des propos relatés par Dakaractu, le député socialiste souligne que Thiaat et compagnie «n’ont aucune référence » raison pour laquelle ils n’auraient pas « leur place à l’Assemblée Nationale».
«Que le mouvement Y’en a marre sache qu’un rassemblement est distinct d’un électorat politique. En plus une opposition sans stratégie a mobilisé à leur place en politisant certaines affaires», a-t-il ajouté.
Cheikh Seck a sauté sur l’occasion pour dire ce qu’il pense du retour de Me Abdoulaye Wade sur la scène politique et l’éventualité de son positionnement en tête de liste de l’opposition. A cet effet, il est catégorique: «Après avoir dilapidé les ressources naturelles du pays, il n’a qu’à aller prier pour demander pardon au bon Dieu ».
Pour Cheikh Seck, « l’opposition est en perte de vitesse et en manque de stratégies. L’opposition ne fait aucunement le poids devant la coalition Benno Book Yakaar. Et par conséquent, elle ne peut en aucun cas imposer une cohabitation et sans Ousmane Tanor Dieng et Moustapha Niasse, le Sénégal ne pourra pas être gouverné dans la stabilité ».
