L’appel du chef de l’Etat, Macky Sall, au cours de la fête de la Tabaski continue de soulever moult réactions. Pour Barthélémy Dias, le maire de Mermoz-Sacré-Cœur, qui s’est entretenu avec seneweb, la seule condition pour dialoguer, c’est d’abord de libérer le maire de Dakar, Khalifa Sall.
«Il est hors de question pour nous de dialoguer avec des conditions de chantage. Le dialogue, pour ce qui nous concerne, c’est-à-dire ceux qui se sont aujourd’hui battus pour Khalifa Sall, ne se fera qu’à la condition que la prise d’otage qui est exercée sur Khalifa Sall cesse. Qu’on libère d’abord Khalifa Sall, ensuite, nous pourrons nous asseoir et discuter de façon objective, constructive et concrète. Mais, on ne peut pas accepter de discuter dans un contexte de prise d’otage et de chantage », a fait savoir Barthélémy Dias.
Le maire dit d’ailleurs ne rien attendre de ce dialogue : «A titre personnel, je ne considère pas cet appel du Président Macky Sall comme un appel sérieux. Je crois que nous ne pouvons pas prétendre vouloir diriger le Sénégal et refuser de discuter. Mais, il est hors de question, pour nous, de discuter, d’échanger avec l’actuel régime dans des conditions de chantage et de prise d’otage».
Cependant, Barthélémy Dias reste convaincu que Khalifa Sall est un otage politique et qu’il y a assez de preuves qui le confirment. «Un ministre d’Etat dans le gouvernement du président a d’ailleurs bien confirmé que Khalifa Sall est en prison par rapport à des ambitions qu’il nourrit pour le Sénégal. Cela n’a jamais été démenti».
