À peine renvoyé du parti présidentiel, l’ancien ministre de l’Énergie, Thierno Alassane Sall, suscite une convoitise dans le camp de l’opposition. Hier, en marge de la cérémonie de remise, de matériels d’allègement des travaux domestiques aux femmes, Alioune Sow, maire de la commune de Thiés-Ouest, a tendu la main à cet homme pugnace, Thierno Alassane Sall, récemment limogé du gouvernement.
« C’est un homme de principe. Et je crois qu’il n’y a aucun complexe par rapport au motif de son renvoi pour qu’il baisse la tête. C’est un thiésois de pure souche. Cela me rappelle le cas de Me Abdoulaye Wade et Idrissa Seck. Wade ne voulait pas de quelqu’un qui lui dit la vérité. Il a chassé Idrissa Seck. Aujourd’hui, Thierno Alassane vit le même sort. Tous les thiésois doivent se mobiliser et le réconforter à continuer davantage sur son chemin », a signalé Alioune Sow.
Le maire Alioune Sow soutient que les privilèges n’ont aucun sens devant l’intérêt supérieur de la Nation. Il a apporté son soutien à Thierno Alassane Sall pour deux raisons : « il est d’abord conseiller dans notre commune. On partage le même quartier. C’est un frère. Ensuite, j’ai appris le coran dans le domicile de son père. Je l’ai appelé, mais je ne l’ai pas eu au téléphone. J’ai appelé un de ses collaborateurs pour lui exprimer mon soutien. Thierno est un jeune. Et Dieu merci, il n’est pas n’importe qui. »
Pour lui, il n’est pas fréquent de voir une autorité de la République claquer la porte au Sénégal. « Certains parlent de renvoi, mais nous prenons en compte la démission. Mais s’il est renvoyé, c’est du fait de son opposition par des principes. Puisqu’il est devant quelqu’un (Macky sall) qui a une nature de dictateur, il n’a qu’à prendre la porte. S’il continue son chemin dans l’Apr, bon vent, mais s’il ne se sent plus à l’aise là-bas, nous lui ouvrons les portes de notre parti (Rewmi). Parce que Thierno n’est pas n’importe qui. Il faut le reconnaître », rassure le maire de la commune Ouest-Thiés, Alioune Sow.
