Membre du cercle des Brics, la Chine est un partenaire de développement de taille pour les pays Africains. Au Sénégal, «pour les 10 dernières années, la Chine a totalisé 12 milliards de Yuans de financements ». Ces deux pays comptent accroître dans l’avenir leur coopération.
L’ambassadeur de la Chine au Sénégal, Zhang Xun, a profité de la célébration de la fondation de la République de Chine pour magnifier l’excellence des rapports entre les 2 pays. «La coopération économique et commerciale affiche une bonne dynamique», a rappelé Zhang Xun. Qui informe que «l’année 2016 a été marquée par un volume bilatéral de 2,36 milliards de dollars Us, et pour les 8 premiers mois de cette année, ce chiffre a dépassé 1,5 milliards ».
À en croire le diplomate, les projets structurants comme l’autoroute Thiès-Touba, les forages multi-villages, la large bande nationale et l’arène de lutte avancent dans d’heureuses conditions. Fort de ce constat, Zhang Xun a ainsi déclaré que «pour les 10 dernières années, la Chine a totalisé 12 milliards de Yuans de financements au Sénégal ». Une situation qui pousse l’ambassadeur de la Chine à espérer que «nous continuerons à travailler main dans la main avec les amis sénégalais pour un meilleur avenir des relations sino-sénégalaises».
Venu représenter le gouvernement, le ministre des Sport Matar Ba a confirmé les propos de son excellence Mr l’ambassadeur concernant leur partenariat.
