Mankoo Taxuwu Sénégal ne va pas participer au dialogue voulu par le Président Macky Sall. Déthié Fall, qui porte sa voix, soutient que le Président Macky Sall ne tient pas ses promesses et exige par ailleurs la libération sans condition de Khalifa Sall, le maire de Dakar.
Interrogé par le radio Rfm, Déthié Fall, le vice Président de Rewmi qui a porté la voix de la coalition s’est étonné de cet appel du Président Macky Sall :
« Nous ne pouvons pas concevoir aujourd’hui que le Président Macky Sall, après tout ce qu’il a fait concernant les élections législatives par rapport à cette fraude massive, après les promesses qu’il avait donné à l’opposition lorsqu’il nous avait reçu le 1er décembre 2016 et ses promesses qui n’ont pas été respectées et qu’il veuille aujourd’hui encore une fois, appelé l’opposition au dialogue de façade. »
Ainsi, par sa voix la coalition Mankoo taxawu Sénégal rejette tout dialogue avec le Président Macky Sall. En effet, poursuit Déthié Fall :
« Après concertation, nous avons décidé de rejeter cet appel en bloc. Et nous lui demandons également de libérer sans délais et sans condition notre camarade, tête de liste de la coalition Mankoo taxawu Sénégal, lors es élections passées, Mr Khalifa Ababacar Sall, maire de Dakar. Pour le moment, nous nous en limitons à cela. »
Pour légitimer leur position, Déthié Fall poursuit :
« Ce qui est également juste est que toutes les promesses qu’il avait faites à l’opposition, il ne les a pas du tout respectées. Et aujourd’hui, il y a une demande forte que l’opposition avait formulée et qui consistait au remplacement de Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo (ministre de l’intérieur) par une personnalité neutre, et consensuel. Ce qu’il n’a pas fait. Et je pense qu’un président de la République qui ne respecte pas sa parole ne mérite pas de s’asseoir avec l’opposition sérieuse pour aujourd’hui discuter des questions qui n’intéressent que son camp, mais qui ne sont d’aucune utilité pour notre démocratie »
