Les choses se compliquent pour Assane Diouf. Ce sénégalais qui s’est illustré sur les réseaux sociaux et YouTube à travers son discours incendiaire à l’endroit du Président Macky Sall et de hautes figures de la vie publique sénégalaise va sans doute regretter ses actes. Depuis lors, Washington s’est encore plus intéressé de lui.
Interpellé et mis en détention par les services de l’immigration, Assane Diouf risque d’être expulsé des Etats-Unis. En effet, nous informe seneweb, le sénégalais a été sommé de quitter les Etats-Unis depuis le 10 août 2016. Le site qui aurait pris contact avec l’ambassade des Etats-Unis au Sénégal, informe que Assane Diouf « n’avait aucun droit légal de rester aux États-Unis ». Car, il serait entré illégalement aux États-Unis en 2001. Le 10 août 2016, il a reçu l’ordre de l’Office of Immigration Appeals (BIA) de quitter le pays de l’oncle Sahm. Mais il ne s’est pas exécuté et a interjeté appel de la décision. En 2017, son appel a été rejeté.
De ce fait, informe l’ambassade des Etats-Unis, il n’a aucun droit de rester aux Etats-Unis. Ainsi, il risque d’être rapatrié par les services d’immigration américaine. En attendant, les autorités judiciaires sénégalaises l’attendent de pieds fermes, pour le faire avaler ses propos.
Déjà, le 21 août dernier, le Bureau national d’Interpol sis à la Rue Carde à Dakar aurait, selon libération, adressé un message au Bureau d’Interpol de Washington. Dakar aurait fait savoir à Washington que Assane Diouf fait l’objet d’une enquête criminelle au Sénégal. Car, il avait appelé dans une vidéo à soutenir le cause de l’Imam Alioune Ndao, détenu pour des faits de terrorisme. Ensuite, il avait annoncé la mobilisation de fonds pour les mettre à la disposition de ce dernier.
Ainsi, Interpol Dakar a informé Washington qu’il a ouvert une enquête contre Assane Diouf pour des faits d’apologie du terrorisme et a demandé à Interpol Washington de faire rapatrier le Assane Diouf au Sénégal comme l’exige la coopération policière.
